Rack Systems

Electronic equipment needs to be properly stored. Click to enlargeDust and heat can damage components. Loose, hanging wires are messy and unsafe. You need a storage solution that protects your equipment and keeps it well organized.

When electrical circuits overheat, they can stop working, temporarily shutting down or becoming permanently damaged. Therefore, it’s essential that storage systems include a thermal management feature, which controls temperatures and ensures that the equipment retains optimal functionality.

Stray or tangled wires make it difficult to work and present a safety hazard. Disorganized wiring can get caught on moving objects or cause people to trip, risking physical damage to the equipment or worse, personal injury.

HD Systems Integration provides rack systems that offer an ideal storage solution. Our rack systems use thermal management to help maintain equipment temperatures and keep equipment organized and protected from dust.

We’ll help you choose a rack system that matches your needs, and then we’ll set it up for you to make sure that your electronic equipment is properly stored, safe, and kept in good working order.

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

Heat has been proven to substantially reduce the life of most equipment, which is why it is vital to engineer the removal of this heat.

85ºF is the maximum recommended operating temperature for most equipment.

Why 85ºF? Most studies have shown that for every 10ºF rise over 85ºF, digital equipment life is reduced by approximately 40%!

However, the Uptime Institute states, “For every 18°F increase above 70°F, long-term reliability is reduced by 50%”. Clearly there is a need to control the temperature inside electronic enclosures.
